Portland Bee Balm is a local, all-natural lip balm company and we are looking to hire a new full-time member of our Production Team to help out with our entire production process. The position’s schedule would be Monday through Friday at 40 hours a week, with flexible start and end times. No experience in this line of work is necessary, just a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn!
We are a small, 9-person team working together to make lip balm the best way we know how with the highest-quality ingredients we can source. We care about each other, our customers, our vendors, our local community, and the planet, and we strive to evaluate the impacts of all our decisions with care. We have an employee profit share program and an open-books policy, meaning all company financial information is shared with every employee. We are a growing company, and we want someone with drive, honesty, and integrity that is excited to join this kind of environment and continue to build it with us.
The work we enjoy on the Production Team is hands-on and tangible, and covers the entire start-to-finish of a tube of lip balm. Each of our batches is thousands of tubes, and the steps we take in our process are done by hand with care, attention to detail, and some complementary use of very simple machinery. This is a product people put on their bodies so we hold our work to a high standard, both personally and as a team. We enjoy working with our hands and get a lot of satisfaction from creating things each day.

This position can require prolonged periods of sitting, regular lifting of 10 lbs, occasional lifting of 50lbs, and repeated/prolonged fine motor movement.
