Shipping/Receiving Clerk
Local aerospace tooling manufacturer looking for a good fit in their tight knit working environment. Our client manufactures wire harness repair tooling used in commercial, military and space exploration.
Summary
Pulls orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment and verifies and enters receipt of incoming shipments.
Keep accurate records to all materials received, inspect shipments, and reconcile packing slips.
Verify that materials are delivered to correct departments and properly stored.
Shift: M-F 6:00-2:30pm
Pay: Starting at $20/hr
Location: Hillsboro - this position is public transit accessible!
Duties
Pull product for orders, complete pick list, print packing slips, bill of ladings, etc
Package product in shipping materials
Process orders through UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, etcwith appropriate paperwork
Ensure accuracy of outgoing shipments
Follow guidelines and notes provided by Customer Service on each Sales Order
Receive inbound product and maintain receiving log for each item and/or lot
Process proper receipts and follow receiving protocol
Process end of day for all outbound shipments
Provide communication to Management of daily tasks and if shipments cannot be accomplished within a regular workday
Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, neatness, etc. the shipping/receiving area
Qualifications
1-3 years shipping experience
Strong work history and attendance record
Must be willing to learn
Work well with others
Must be able to follow established processes and procedures or follow directions.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time while performing repetitive processes.
Must have good hand-eye coordination
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to work as scheduled
Shift: M-F 6:00-2:30pm
Pay: Starting at $19/hr - More for highly qualified candidates
