Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations Position
Job Description: This position supports the entire PPFC Operations Department by primarily performing shipping, receiving, and warehouse tasks. Our team works closely with our bakers and packaging team to ensure we are shipping a high-quality product.
Pay: $19.50 hourly. Benefits for FT employees include Health/Dental/Vision and Life Insurance, Eight Paid Holidays, Paid Time Off provided after training period, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Referral Program, and Educational Assistance Program offered.
Schedule: 40 hours weekly – Monday to Friday; Noon – 8:00 pm
Essential Job Functions
Participate in warehouse tasks including order fulfillment, pallet building, receiving, inventory tracking, accurate labeling, and operation of basic warehouse equipment.
Participate in packaging tasks including bagging, casing, inventory tracking, accurate labeling, and operation of large manufacturing equipment.
Maintain integrity and organization of products and supplies.
Follow health and safety standards.
Verify the accuracy of projects and completion of paperwork.
Perform the tasks of other Operations Departments as requested by Management.
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk continuously during an 8-hour shift
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds
Frequent stooping, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and lifting
Certification Requirements
Food Handler’s Certificate within 90 days of hire
Forklift Certification upon hire
