Our client, in Tualatin, OR is one of Oregon's leaders in the engineering, manufacturing, and materials management industry and has an opening for a Material Coordinator. The Material Coordinator will use a variety of tools and equipment to support the manufacturing department and assist in the smooth processing of equipment.

As a Material Coordinator, you'll receive:

$22 - $24 hourly wage to start - Based on your direct warehouse experience

Potential for Overtime opportunities

Amazing DAY-SHIFT and ½ days Friday

Monday - Thursday 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM & Friday 7 AM - 11 AM

This position will be a temp-to-hire role, meaning after your probationary period, if you have met the required criteria, and demonstrated good attendance, and job performance, you will be offered a permanent position.

As a Material Coordinator, you will be required to:

Ensure an efficient production and distribution of products by picking/pulling orders

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail utilizing ERP systems and computer software programs

Maintaining inventory, labeling products, stocking shelves, and reporting shortages

Locating and packing materials for shipping using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks

Verifying return items by cross-checking part numbers and quantities

Preparing finished products for shipping by crating, packing, loading, and securing

Maintain in-process inventory for the work centers by delivering shortages and fulfilling floor stock

Qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in material handling and fast-paced warehouse operations

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and INFOR ERP systems

Forklift certification is a plus but NOT required

Superior communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in prioritizing and meeting deadlines

Ability to take initiative and follow detailed instructions

To pass a background check and drug test, that includes THC
