Sylvan Signs is currently looking for a Production Lead. We produce vinyl signs, banners, posters, stickers, A-frame signs, vehicle graphics, wraps and more. We are only interested in experienced candidates at this time. Your main focus will be keeping the printer running, laminating, and applying vinyl to various substrates. You must be comfortable standing on your feet or at a computer for the majority of the day and producing quality signage. Candidates must be very confident in sign production, sales and have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
The Production Lead will be responsible for managing daily production and quality control for the center. This position will be the lead on all sign and graphic production. In addition, this position holds responsibility for making sure all team members are trained in their respective areas to maintain efficiency and top quality products. Candidates will be required to do site surveys, and have excellent communication skills. This position is also responsible for coordinating and to assist with installations as needed. Graphic design skills will be an essential part of this position and candidates must be very proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
A small test will be given during the interview process to ensure these skills are present. We are looking for overachievers that have a strong attention to detail, good communication and can stay focused without constant supervision. A positive attitude will go a long way as well!
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 1 year experience in the signage or associated industry
- Thorough knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, products
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional, upbeat, positive attitude
- Sharp attention to detail
- Keen multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and as an integral team member
- Expertise in wide-format printer and RIP operations
- Expertise in the following software applications a plus:
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Expertise in color management concepts and procedures
