ABOUT TAYLOR MADE RETREAT: Taylor Made Retreat is a residential facility where those desiring recovery from drugs or alcohol can find recovery from their addiction through the application of the 12 steps.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION: The primary objective of the House Manager position is to create a safe, supportive, and organized environment for individuals in recovery. This involves guiding clients through the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, maintaining a clean facility, fostering empathetic connections, and efficiently managing daily schedules and activities. The House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the recovery program and supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

Lead by example, guiding residents through the Twelve Steps.
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive atmosphere, actively engaging with residents' well-being
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong commitment to guiding clients through their recovery journey.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate group activities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage daily schedules and activities.
- Effective communication skills.
- High level of cleanliness and attention to detail to maintain the environment.
- Ability to enforce house rules and provide guidance and structure.
- Resilience and the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Ability to foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of sobriety
- Proficiency and experience with the 12 Steps
- Must be an active part of the recovery community – i.e. have a sponsor, be actively sponsoring, be regularly attending 12 step meetings and utilizing the 12 steps as a design for living.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Availability for evenings and weekends.
