Position Overview:
Samaritan Care Partners of Oregon is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Job Coach to support individuals with disabilities working at the Cornelius Walmart. The Job Coach provides one-on-one coaching, training, and ongoing support to help our clients thrive in their workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized job coaching to individuals with disabilities.
Assist individuals in mastering job tasks, adhering to workplace policies, and maintaining productivity.
Foster positive working relationships between clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
Monitor client progress and document performance.
Communicate regularly with management, clients, and families to support successful employment outcomes.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and commitment to empowering others.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a retail environment.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Schedule:
Flexible, part-time schedule. Specific hours may vary according to client needs and Walmart's operational hours.
