Purpose:ÂLifeWorks NW Quality Management Coordinator is responsible for training staff in documentation compliance, systems and workflows, writing trainings, auditing charts, providing continuous quality improvement interventions and feedback for clinical staff and investigating HIPAA and Fraud, Waste and Abuse reports. This position reports to the Director of Quality Management.
Position is located at LifeWorks NW's Cedar Mill office.
Qualifications:Â
Master's degree in an approved mental health related field (must meet QMHP criteria as defined by state law) required; CADC preferred.
Requires clinical experiences with psychiatric and substance use disorders.
1-3 years in similar role/department within the behavioral health field preferred.
Ability to examine clinical documentation for accuracy, compliance and completeness.
Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations that protect Personal Health Information (PHI).
Ability to work effectively with consumers and co-workers.Â
Ability to communicate clearly.
A basic knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules.
Good computer skills including a functional knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Ability to master use of proprietary software including our electronic health record system Avatar.
Demonstrates effective communication skills and maintains a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.
