We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in office software.
Duties
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in filing and organizing documents to maintain an orderly office environment.
- Utilize computer literacy to perform data entry, create sales orders and manage correspondence with customers and brokers.
- Assistant Accounts Receivable manager as needed.
- Operate office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phone systems effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. EDI and ERP system preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments and with customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in an office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
