PERRIN Performance is seeking a new team member for our Purchasing Department!
This is position works intimately with the Purchasing Manager. Direction will be given on working with our vendors on procuring needed goods and services to complete our automotive products.
Note: while prior experience is helpful, this is an entry level position and we provide training.
Job Description includes but may not be limited to:
Producing Quote Requests and Creating Purchase Orders
Vendor Communication. Including confirming prices, quantities and timelines.
Inventory management software usage
Reconciling Invoices and Packing Slips
Preparing outbound products to Vendor outsourcing
Counting and sorting incoming and outgoing product
Basic quality control
Preferred Skills /Education:
Prior Purchasing Experience
Microsoft Suite competency
Excellent communication skills
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
Understanding the importance of asking for help when needed
Interest in automotive products and vehicles
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Requirements:
Current resume
18 years of age
Fluent English communication skills
Ability to routinely lift 30-50 lbs.
Submit to criminal background check at hiring
Work Days:
Mon-Thu 7am to 5:30pm
Three Day Weekends Every Week!
Starting Wage: $18.00 - $22.50 / hr. (Higher initial pay may be available based on prior experience.)
Benefits Package: Health / Vision Care Eligible First of the Month following 60 days. PTO and Sick Pay after 90 days but accrues during the probation period. 401K Retirement and other specific benefit details at application.
