Job description:
Portland based, The Tao of Tea is seeking to hire an office administrative assistant. The job duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Assisting in office administrative tasks as needed on filing and entry of new orders.
- Answering phone calls from customers and vendors.
- Utilize key customer web portals for confirming new orders and order fulfillment tasks.
- Assisting in entering bills from vendors. Helping in generating accounts receivables reports and sending out reminders to customers.
- Responsible for communication with team members on order fulfillment.
- Project support to key senior management personnel including CEO.
The candidate will learn nuances in the specialty tea industry and be part of tasting a variety of flavors to become knowledgeable of the company products. The position is part time for a total of 24 hours per week (3 days). Schedule is flexible and can be set based on discussion. Our timings are monday-friday from 9 am to 5 pm, in our S.E. Belmont street, Portland location.

Experience
Proven experience in an administrative role.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
