Grid Property Management is seeking a dedicated and flexible on-site contractor to assist with various tasks, including lockbox placements and pickups, sign placements, key handling, and occasional showings for potential tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Lockbox and Sign Management:
- Place and pick up lockboxes at various properties.
- Install and remove signage as required.
- Pick up keys from our office and place them in designated lockboxes.
- These tasks are recurring, typically multiple times a week, and can be done at your convenience unless specified otherwise.
Showing Agent:
- Conduct around 1-2 property showings per week.
- Meet prospective tenants at the home or unit for lease, provide entry for the open house and answer basic questions about the availability of the home and the monthly rent. All additional inquiries (our application process and other questions) will be directed to the Grid Leasing staff.
- Utilize our app, Showdigs, to sync with your Google calendar for availability.
- Prospective tenants schedule showings through our website, and these are automatically added to your calendar based on your noted availability.
- Flexibility to choose your own availability for showings.
This position offers flexibility in scheduling - the contractor can create their own schedule.
We are hoping for someone with availability of about 5-7 hours a week. Each open house is scheduled to last about 15 minutes. Lockbox/sign/key tasks can be done at your own pace. No weekend availability is required, and no prior experience in property leasing is required.
The leasing agent will be paid weekly per open house, and per each sign/lockbox placement task.
The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a can-do attitude. A reliable vehicle is mandatory for the position.
Familiarity with Google Calendars is a plus!
Additional tasks including photographing our vacant homes after tenants move out, or before new tenants move in, may be requested as well.
