C&R Real Estate Services Co. is looking for an Assistant Manager II for the beautiful 192-unit apartment community of Forestplace Apartment Homes – www.forestplacecr.com. Amenities include a pool, spa, sports court, fitness center, clubhouse, and playground. As the Assistant Manager II, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of this property including marketing, maintaining property integrity, showing available units and screening prospective residents, collecting rents, serving notices, developing reports and preparing agreements, and maintaining files and records. You will be responsible for the daily inspection of the property and all amenities including the pool, laundry facilities and landscaping to ensure they always look their best! Courteous relations with the residents and vendors is essential to this position.
Responsibilities:
Leasing available units
Marketing available vacancies
Scheduling vendors, turnovers and repairs
Assist with cleaning of units to ensure efficient turnover
Assist with cleaning of roofs and gutters
Prepare weekly occupancy and monthly reports
Proactively seek and develop awareness of the rental market
Additional responsibilities will be given to fill the property’s needs
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Two (2) years of GREAT previous customer service experience is required.
Previous experience in Property Management is required.
Basic experience with MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division and percentages)
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Possess the ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail
Awareness and ability to adhere to all landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing
Currently possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess current and valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have a clean driving record
Your work schedule will be Sunday through Thursday with office hours of 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. If you are interested in living on-site, you will be eligible to have your utilities comped.
