Budtender (Hood River, OR)
Cannabis dispensary in Hood River seeks a friendly, self-motivated individual for part-time position. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Position will encompass a variety of different tasks including cannabis packaging, customer service, check-in, and budtending. Must be over 21 and have a valid OLCC marijuana handlers permit as of start of work.
Requirements:
Must be over 21
Must have a valid Marijuana Handlers Permit or acquire one before start of work.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
Retail sales experience or related experience
Must have a professional, customer-service oriented attitude and enjoy talking with others.
Must have ability to maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment
Must be able to follow directions and to work independently.
Must be able to stay motivated and organized while performing repetitive tasks.
Accurate cash handling skills.
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to bend, squat, and reach multiple times throughout the day.
Must be dependable with good time management.
Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Skills & Responsibilities:
Cannabis packaging with accuracy and precision.
Greeting customers, responding to questions, and handling complaints
Providing outstanding customer service with a positive, friendly attitude.
Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
Educate customers on various strains, consumption methods, and product effects.
Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Prohibiting minors from gaining entry.
Upholding security protocols.
Providing/maintaining a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment
Keeping work areas and the sales floor clean and organized.
Maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays
Precise record keeping.
Opening and closing.
