We are a family owned shop with great staff and many regular customers in the heart of downtown Vancouver. This position is part time for approximately 20 hours
Qualifications
Good customer service skills.
Ability to operate a cash register and work with numbers.
Excellent communication skills - we have many regular customers, some of which had difficulty communicating
Ability to get tasks done with little or no supervision.
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift up to 50
pounds.
Duties and responsibilities
Run till, process payments, balance till at beginning and end of shifts
Greet customers at they enter
Provide friendly assistance to our many regular and repeat customers
Stock and face shelves
Keep the store clean, sanitize all surfaces regularly, break down recycling, take out trash, other maintenance activities
