A small company located in Clackamas Oregon that manufactures products for the automotive industry is seeking a shipping clerk to handle all outbound shipments.
This entry level position consists of pulling items from the warehouse and packaging them for shipment. Organization and attention to detail are key to success in this position.
Responsibilities:
-Make sure all orders get shipped out each day
-Pull parts from shelf locations within warehouse (small 1500 sq-ft warehouse room)
-Package products into shipper boxes and prepare for shipment
-Create shipping labels using UPS software and other programs
-For large orders, organize and track contents in each box and record in inventory software
-Distribute tracking numbers for each shipment
-Restock shelf locations in warehouse when inventory gets low
-Work to resolve shipping issues
Required Qualifications:
-Meticulous attention to detail
-Energetic and able to keep pace with workload
-Ability to handle physical workloads up to 50 lb.
-Ability to be on your feet the majority of the work day
-Speak fluent English
-Ability to understand and memorize item locations in warehouse
-18 years old or older
-Fluent with computers and Windows based software packages
-High school diploma
-Legally authorization to work in the US
-Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Hours of business are 8am-5pm Mon-Fri. This is a full time 40 hour per week position.
