A Portland-based custom merchandise company is seeking fulfillment support and warehouse/shop hand.
Part-Time/Contract (1099) work- may transition to W2 position for the right individual
15-20 hours/week
Pay dependant on experience
Work to take place in the hours of M-F, 8-5
Responsibilities:
Read and decipher work orders that come in via Shopify
Locate and extract merchandise from shelves and storage areas
Confirm merchandise information matches that of the work order
Inspect merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities
Pick and pack products according to customer specifications
Assembling, labeling, and packaging orders for shipping or customer pickup
Completing order and shipping documentation accurately
Finalize work orders and update the database
Communicate with other team members to ensure smooth order processing
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed
Maintain workspace, including organizing and cleaning
Additional tasks may be assigned
Requirements and skills:
Reading and interpreting written work orders
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift heavy objects, max 40 lbs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to take initiative, multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
