Nature's Pet Market located in the Orenco Station neighborhood of Hillsboro is looking to add to our staff! We believe that proper nutrition is an essential component to ensure our pets are given the best chance for sustained health and long-term well being. Therefore, Nature's Pet Market offers a wide range of natural pet foods and products. We are interested in hiring someone who has had experience with pets and their proper care and nutritional needs. In addition to an outstanding history of customer service, we encourage people with two or more of the following to apply for the position:
Must have retail experience
pet food nutritional knowledge
veterinary clinic work
comfort with Point Of Sale and computers
stocking experience
local residence
The position offers roughly 10-24+hrs a week and will begin as soon as possible. Schedule is generally 1pm to 5pm Thursday to Monday. Preference will be given to candidates willing to support a flexible working schedule. Some of the shifts may involve receiving pet supply deliveries, which will require the ability to lift 40lbs at a time. Other duties will include:
customer service and product suggestions
check in, price and stock merchandise
cashiering
maintaining a clean store overall
opening and closing the store
