Portland’s premier maker of handcrafted furniture is seeking an energetic and creative full-time salesperson to enhance our team.
Since 1982, The Joinery has created handcrafted furniture for residential and commercial spaces. A certified B Corp, we operate with a deep commitment to our employees, environment, and community. Each piece is designed and built in Portland, OR by highly-skilled woodworkers using time-honored techniques – keeping alive a craft that blends art with function.
As part of our sales team, you’ll maintain a thriving base of loyal customers and creatively expand business by making new connections, forging creative collaborations, and building personal clientele.
Successful applicants have:
3+ years of sales and customer service experience (other industries count!)
A track record of outstanding sales performance
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
An understanding of specialized products and sophisticated customers
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
While not required, experience with an ERP system, home furnishings, or commissioned sales is a plus
