Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales team in the food ingredients sector. This pivotal role requires a visionary leader who can inspire and motivate our sales professionals to exceed targets and drive growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the food ingredients market and a strategic mindset to navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue goals and expand market share in the food ingredients sector.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to foster a high-performance culture, ensuring continuous development and growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within the food ingredients or related industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse sales team both in-house and remote.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a deep understanding of market dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
