Summary of Position:
This role is an important part to our dealership. One will be assisting the Service Department with washing vehicles for guests and transporting/shuttling guests accordingly. This job requires attention to detail and the ability to work swiftly and effectively without compromising the quality of the guest experience, the wash/detail of the vehicle is the first impression the customer receives when the vehicle is returned from service. This position will work closely with the Service Department, ensure returned vehicles are up to par and if shuttling guests, they are provided with excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be punctual, able to take direct and efficiently execute instructions, lastly, they will be task oriented, courteous and a team player.
Duties & Responsibilities: (will include but not limited to)
Park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas.
Keep dealership lot clean and organized.
Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues.
Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
Work with the Service Department to prep and clean vehicles that have completed repairs and/or oil changes.
Work with the Service Department to ensure customers are shuttled home accordingly, providing good customer service.
Work closely with Detail Team to ensure all sold units are washed and cleaned to delivery standards.
Work with the Detail Team to ensure the dealership lot is cleaned and maintained daily.
Work with the General Sales Manager to merchandise lot accordingly.
Ensure to handle all vehicles with care when driving and washing them.
Ensure that the Vehicle Washing Procedures are followed on a consistent basis.
Ensure the dealership lot is open and closed accordingly.
Ensure the Detail Shop is kept organized and clean, free of clutter.
Follow company policies/procedures and basic safety standards for position.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
Perform any additional tasks asked by management.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have a valid driver’s license
High School Diploma
Be reliable
Previous dealership experience is a plus
Experience with driving a manual transmission is a plus
Highly motivated and task-oriented
Strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment
Good customer service skills
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Professional appearance
Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check
