Local construction company servicing Beaverton, Tigard and Portland is seeking a highly skilled residential construction estimator. Estimator must have the following experience/skills:
Responsibilities:
- Perform onsite evaluation of potential clients projects
- Collect details regarding the new design and layout of each project
- Write up detailed estimates with accurate and up to date market pricing
- Ability to perform accurate calculations and analyze costs, materials, and labor requirements
Qualifications:
- Experience in residential construction minimum 5 years with a proven track record in estimating costs for various types of residential projects, including renovations, and remodeling
-Understanding of local market trends, material costs, subcontractor rates specific to residential construction
-Proficiency in measuring residential properties using industry-standard tools and techniques, ensuring precise quantity take-offs and cost estimates
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients
-Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates and proposals
-Familiarity with local building codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to residential construction.
-Possess strong sales skills, ability to effectively sell the company’s capabilities, strengths, and services to potential clients
