Job Description:
This is a great opportunity to join PDX British, a large, successful, family-owned, and highly reputable independent Land Rover service shop located in close-in Portland on SW Macadam Avenue.

Our facility is large, modern, clean and comes with a riverfront view from the shop. There is an outside patio area for you to enjoy during your breaks. Also, be prepared to enjoy amazing local restaurants and the nearby Willamette Park.
You will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to accurately diagnose using diagnostic computer equipment
- Help keep shop area neat and clean, and be able to account for parts and shop tools
- Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean
- Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair
- Document all work performed
- Professional demeanor when interacting with customers, colleagues and management
Compensation:

Skills:
- Proven track record of your current automotive repair achievements (minimum of 3 years hands-on experience)
- Land Rover, Ford or BMW experience a huge plus
- Must have own tools
- Outstanding communication skills and a team player
- Professional appearance and high work ethic
- Solid and punctual attendance record
- Great attitude with a high-energy and friendly personality
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Valid driver’s license
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have technical aptitude - preferably displayed by ASE certification
- Technical or trade school degree a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 to $35.00 /hour
