Position Overview:
We’re looking for a Certified Mobility Technician to join our team. You’ll work in our shop alongside experienced, certified technicians, servicing and installing conversions, lifts, scooters, adaptive driving equipment and more. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and install mobility equipment (wheelchair vans, lifts, scooters, etc.), ensuring ADA compliance and safety standards
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment upgrades
Work with leading brands such as Vantage Mobility, BraunAbility, Pride Mobility, Sure-Grip Hand Controls and others
Communicate clearly and compassionately with customers to explain repairs, answer questions, and provide guidance
Maintain accurate service records and assist with inventory management
Collaborate with a small, supportive team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Required Qualifications:
Factory certification in mobility equipment repair/installation (or willingness to obtain)
Hands-on experience with mobility vehicles and adaptive equipment preferred
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills
Valid driver’s license and clean background check
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning
