Job Overview:

As a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician at Rox Services LLC, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing various commercial refrigeration systems, helping our clients in the food service industry maintain the freshness and safety of their products. Your technical skills and commitment to service excellence will play a crucial role in our client's satisfaction and success.

The ideal candidate will possess two years of Refrigeration experience.

Commercial Field Service Technician will install and service specialty restaurant equipment. You will be part of a passionate and growing team that interacts with other technicians and various departments each day. Our priority is to ensure we can expediently serve our customers and provide excellent customer service internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

Refrigeration System Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, reach-in refrigerators, and ice machines. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency and reliability.

Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients. Communicate repair options, estimates, and timelines clearly and professionally.

Documentation: Maintain precise records of service calls, repairs conducted, and parts used. Generate detailed service reports and invoices for clients.

Troubleshooting: Identify equipment malfunctions and determine the root causes of issues. Develop effective solutions and execute repairs efficiently.

Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and industry regulations while performing service tasks. Promote a culture of safety within the team and at client sites.

Inventory Management: Manage and monitor inventory levels of spare parts and tools required for service calls. Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and in proper working condition.

Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging refrigeration technologies, and manufacturer-specific training to enhance technical knowledge and skills.Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in refrigeration preferred.

Proven experience as a refrigeration service technician, especially in the food service industry.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

Proficiency in using specialized refrigeration tools and equipment.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Flexibility to work extended hours and respond to emergency service calls when necessary.

Technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service is preferred.

Relevant technical training, licenses, and certifications (i.e., EPA, CFESA) are preferred.

Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Essential hand tools and some specific to the trade.

Additional Skills & Requirements:

Able to frequently kneel, bend, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.

Able to work with moving mechanical parts, pressurized equipment, torches, open flames, heated surfaces, various liquids, low voltage electrical, safe electrical practices, multimeters, vacuum pumps, and hot, humid, or freezing conditions.

Able to work on ladders, roofs, and confined spaces

Able to operate a heavy-duty company truck and pull a hydraulic-operated trailer.

Ability to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends and occasional overnight travel as assigned.

Self-motivated and proven to prioritize and work independently with minimal direct supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
