The University of Portland is looking for an passionate, skilled, knowledgeable supervisor to support and oversee a team of roughly 15 custodial staff.
The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for work planning, assigning custodial tasks, inspecting work, training staff, resolving routine issues, and building a positive team culture. There are several custodial supervisors comprising a team of roughly 50 staff, who report to the Services Manager.
This is a full-time benefited position supervising full-time benefited staff. The University offers a competitive benefit package with excellent healthcare, 5% retirement contribution, 12-days sick, 10-days vacation, and roughly 16-days of holiday. After 2-years tuition remission is available for dependents, which is nearly free education (with certain qualifications).
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM-4:30PM (some overtime/flex required)
Required: 2+ years custodial experience
Preferred: Lead or Supervisory experience
Required: Active driver's license
