We are a Horizontal Directional Drilling (Underground Utilities) contractor looking for someone to maintain and make repairs to our construction fleet of semi's, service trucks, trailers, and hydraulic equipment. The perfect candidate should be a self-starter, mechanically inclined and a problem solver with an aptitude to want to learn and grow.
Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose, adjust, and repair class A trucks and service trucks.
Maintain and service all equipment to Federal DOT standards.
Inspect and replace worn brake components. Experience with steering and suspension systems is desirable.
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment.
Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.
Experience with hydraulic equipment very desirable
Will be required to travel to job sites to do repairs when necessary (Company vehicle provided)
Opportunity to get your class A CDL paid for by the company along with pay raise.
Job Responsibilities: Must be 21 + years old
Valid driver’s licenses is required
Must have one year of truck and/or tractor trailer repair experience.
Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift (up to 75 lbs.), push, pull, climb, and lie on back in horizontal position for prolonged periods of time.
Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred)
Experienced using all tools of the trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools)
Starting pay is $25 - $35 /hour DOE (hourly wage is higher if you have a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement)
Competitive pay, overtime, benefits, and bonuses after 90 days.
Mon. - Fri. - 40 - 60 hours per week with overtime.
