Experienced Dog Groomer Wanted for Mobile Dog grooming company in Vancouver WA.
Ideally, we are looking for a Professional Dog Groomer with a minimum of at least 4 years+ of experience.
Applicants should have the following:
At least 4 years of dog grooming experience, specifically with skills in Full hair styling, hand-face trimming, and
some limited breed-specific cuts.
Experience with Senior dogs, or Anxious dogs, and/or dogs with "special needs" is a plus.
Grooming tools such as blades and clippers. We can also provide as necessary.
This job is perfect for someone who is available "Part time", and/or someone who is looking for a very flexible schedule that will fit into their own personal needs. Initially, the jobs would on an intermittent basis and you would be able to pick and choose the dates of your availability. We are very flexible and would be able to work around your availability with proper planning.
COMPENSATION:
Compensation shall start @ $40 p/hour + 100% of tips (on dogs you groom) for the first 6 months.
Compensation may be increased to $50 p/hour (or more) + 100% of tips after the first 6 months at owner's discretion based on employee performance.
Owner is open to additional discretional compensation bonus' on a per-job basis for a groomer with exceptional skills
The employee will be working with another groomer in the grooming van who will be the "designated driver" who may assist with Bathing and/or drying, in order to assist employee whenever possible. Irregardless, the applicant shall receive 100% of tips given by each client, regardless of whether the received assistance with any peripheral tasks such as bathing, or drying.

We are offering an extremely Flexible work schedule, given that we are looking for a very talented and highly skilled individual.
We use top quality high end Premium shampoos and product by Wild Animal, Bio-groom, Kelco, and other premium quality brands.
We are experienced in the grooming business and have a successful existing grooming business in another city since 2017.
We do all of the booking, customer relations, and billing. The applicant only needs to show up and provide excellent grooming services.
We advise all of our clients verbally on "minimum" recommended tipping guidelines.
We do not accept clients who are are irrational, neurotic, and/or "high maintenance".
We do not accept clients who do not appreciate the rarity of a highly skilled groomer.
We do not accept Clients who expect highly detailed "show cuts", intricate skirts, and/or exotic hair styles.
We do not Tie-dye dogs' hair or do hair dyeing
We do not do Lion Cuts or similar on double coated dogs.
We do not shave double coated dogs for any reason, no matter how much money the client has to spend.
We do not accept clients who only groom their dogs once per year or leave their dogs to live outside.
We do not normally accept any "DOODLES" unless they have extremely compelling needs and want a short SHORT hair cut.
