Job summary:
The Electrical Project Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the overall management of electrical installations and operations. This includes electrical projects, daily operations of the office, and ensuring compliance with all electrical and safety standards. The ideal candidate is an analytical, self-motivated leader with an understanding of project management, electrical installation and strong team management abilities.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and procurement of material with the crews in the field with attention to efficiency.
Motivate and mentor employees to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
Monitor employee timecards for accuracy and detailed descriptions.
Ensure all electrical systems and processes comply with relevant safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Create accurate and detailed work orders and invoices.
Manage electrical permits, and inspections for the company.
Help to maintain current customer relations and build on that customer base.
Assist with the estimating of projects.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as an electrical journeyman.
Leadership/management work experience preferred
Strong knowledge of installation & maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, and components.
In-depth knowledge of electrical safety regulations and codes.
Experience bidding electrical installations is a plus, but not required.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Word/Excel or the Google equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
Comfortable working under time deadlines.
Certification/Licensing requirements
Must hold and maintain an Oregon Electrician’s license
Must hold and maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license
Must be insurable by our insurance company
Compensation:
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000
