About Us:
OnTheGo Promotions is a Sherwood based garment decoration company specializing in screen printing, embroidery, and DTG. We provide services to a wide customer base ranging from local small businesses to large corporations like Nike. We are looking for an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join our team full-time.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain embroidery machines to produce high-quality embroidered apparel.
Set up machine parameters, including thread tension, hooping, and design positioning.
Duties include hooping, stitching, trimming, and machine operation.
Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs/adjustments as needed.
Ensure embroidered designs meet company quality standards.
Prepare garments and materials for embroidery, including hooping and backing selection.
Maintain a clean and organized embroidery workspace.
Assist with other production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret embroidery design files (DST format preferred).
Experience with different fabric types and stabilizers.
High attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Compensation & Benefits:
$20 an hour. (subject to negotiation based on skill set and experience)
