Job Summary: Entry-Level Prosthetic/Orthotic Technician
We are seeking motivated individuals for an entry-level Prosthetic/Orthotic Technician position. This role involves significant manual labor and mechanical work, including standing, lifting, and bending throughout the day. As part of our team, you'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start a rewarding career in the healthcare field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Prosthetists and Orthotists in creating prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Fabricate and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices to meet company quality standards.
Perform tasks such as ordering materials, receiving shipments, and managing inventory.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Communicate with vendors to order materials needed for device fabrication.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination for using laboratory tools safely and effectively.
Excellent hand skills for detailed fabrication work.
Highly motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.
Good organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
