Local General Contractor is looking for an experienced tile setter to help tackle a solid schedule of remodeling work. We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and such, so we have a bunch of creative backsplashes, tub surrounds, and showers to tile. We have awesome clientele and a great remodeling crew. Hoping to find someone to fit right in and get along with the crew, but also have the experience to work independently. Our shop is in the Hillsboro area, with most work in Beaverton, Hillsboro, Bethany, Forest Grove, SW and NW Portland, etc. Ideal candidate’s qualifications are as follows:
Tile experience as it applies to remodels
A well organized truck or van full of professional tools
The ability to show up on time and keep a realistic schedule
A positive, youthful outlook on life
The ability to take direction and work as a team
Some experience in current shower waterproofing techniques, as well as the ability to wet set pans
Comfortable setting small mosaic to large format tile
Some experience, or ability to learn under tile heated floor installation
