Lo’s Contracting, Inc. is a well-established for 22 years construction company in Portland, Oregon that provides top-notch construction and renovation services. We pride ourselves on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable handyman to join our growing team and assist with a wide range of tasks at our construction sites and other projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks at residential and commercial properties.
Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair and painting work.
Assist with minor demolition and clean up, installations and construction-related duties.
Inspect properties to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
Troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions to ensure timely project completion.
Work with a team of construction professionals to ensure work is done safely and efficiently.
Respond to emergency repair requests and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of general maintenance, repair, and construction tasks.
Ability to handle a variety of tools and equipment.
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other handyman-related skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving records.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a construction company.
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or after-hours.
This is not required, but bilingual English and Spanish is a plus.
