Help Wanted: Apartment Maintenance Tech
Are you a skilled and versatile maintenance professional with experience in a variety of trades? We are seeking a dedicated apartment maintenance tech to join us in maintaining our properties and creating enjoyable living communities for our tenants.
Position: Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, pressure washing, pest control (and more).
Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
Yard work and landscaping as needed.
Apartment turnover work including painting, cleaning, repairs
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs and same-day reporting
Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Communicate effectively with tenants and management.
Strong attention to safety when using tools, cleaning chemicals, etc.
Climb and work on a ladder up to 20 ft. high
Requirements:
Strong work ethic
Your own set of hand and power tools
Able to work individually and on a team
General knowledge in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and yard maintenance, appliance repair.
Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
Available for after hour emergencies. Must remain local (within 30 minutes of Portland) one weekend monthly with on-call duties.
