Are you a highly skilled and self-motivated facilities professional with a knack for leadership? We're looking for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in a beautiful country club setting. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to be the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our members and staff.
What You'll Do
You'll take charge of a wide range of responsibilities, from managing preventative maintenance calendars and overseeing a small team to working directly with committees on important projects. Your expertise in areas like plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and carpentry will be put to good use as you evaluate and maintain our assets. You'll also be a key player in budget preparation and vendor relations.
This is a full-time, salaried position, requiring coverage Wednesday through Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to closing, with some flexibility. Please be prepared for the work to change with seasonal demands, which may include some longer days and working in various weather conditions.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and communication skills. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude that shines through in your excellent customer service. Knowledge of CMMS software and a valid driver’s license are a must.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, and work with various tools. Experience in a related field and a high school diploma are required. The ability to swim is also needed.
