The job requires someone who is self motivated, able to work in a flexible environment, good attendance, attention to detail, and ability to work well with others.
Qualifications:
The ability to sandblast and paint industrial equipment and structural steel with different types of paint (hi solid zinc, epoxy, oil based enamel, latex or Powder Coat).
Able to use and maintain HVLP and conventional paint equipment.
Must have reliable transportation and drivers license.
Duties and responsibilities:
Must clean, prep, mask and wipe down items before painting.
Paint items to proper specifications and quality.
Assemble and put together items for shipping.
Drive forklift to move items to and from paint area.
Load/Unload trucks.
Keep inventory of paint, thinners, and hardware used in assembly.
Willingness to work and perform other production tasks in the main fabrication area when needed.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 75 lbs on occasion.
Able to work on your feet for a full shift.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Ability to pass respiratory fitness and respirator fit test.
