What the job is:
Journey-Level Carpenter for residential remodeling. You will often be working alongside other carpenters and under a lead but as we have several jobs happening at any one time you will be working independently as well. Work will entail completing various carpentry tasks, communicating with lead on a daily basis, picking up materials for jobs, keeping storage clean and organized and keeping jobsite clean.

We specialize in remodeling projects that are design and detail-intensive within the City of Portland. They range from gut bathroom, kitchen and basement remodels, to additions and ADUs. Most of our clients live in their homes while we work on them and have pets and/or children. We pride ourselves on giving the client a great remodeling experience in addition to a great end result. Responsibilities:
Read and interpret plans, drawings and sketches
Framing as it relates to remodeling baths, kitchens, basements, additions and dormers
Install cabinetry
Install trim and other finish carpentry
Install windows
Install doors
Weather barriers (felt/housewrap)
Siding and exterior trim (patch and install new)
Hang, tape and mud drywall on small jobs
Complete take-offs and order materials
Pick up materials for jobs
Keep storage area clean and organized
Maintain safe jobsite
Minimum Qualifications
Must be organized, efficient and self-motivated
Tools for carpentry tasks
Vehicle
Drug-free
Clean driving record
Compensation:
Will depend on previous experience: $30 - $40/hour
