Terraccord Landscapes is an established small landscape design/build company serving the greater Portland metro area since 2011. We specialize in water-wise lawn alternatives and landscape renovations that are anchored in native plants. Join our landscaping team for the 2024 season as a landscape crewmember and maintenance technician. This PT, seasonal landscaper position runs through November 15 and is a chance to gain landscaping skills from an established business, work outside, and spend time in beautiful residential gardens all over Portland metro area.
Job requirements:
consistently lift 50 lbs up to 80lbs.
work outside in a wide range of weather conditions
Since some of the hours will be solo, a reliable vehicle for commuting, transporting tools and supplies is strongly preferred, with a valid license and good driving record. Hauling abilities a plus (pickup bed, hitch, etc) Mileage reimbursement and gas reimbursement are provided. Compensation for commute time between jobsites is provided. Build a schedule and appointment route that works for you.
self-directed as well as work closely with others
as the nature of the work is weather dependent, some flexibility with schedule is needed. You will have the opportunity to collaborate on developing your schedule.
access to smart phone during business hours
knowledge of landscaping, gardening, native plants, building skills a plus, please specify your skill set in the email or cover letter when sending a CV.
previous customer service skills a plus = good attitude and communication skills. Must be able to handle and integrate feedback and be a team player.
