Up to $45 per hour depending upon experience

Clarke Vehicare has an immediate opening, Monday-Friday, 6am - 2:30pm! We are hiring a Lead Fleet Mechanic - Diesel Technician.

What are the Duties?

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Help drive day to day operations of shop to meet customer needs.

Repair and maintain a fleet of Trucks, Trailers, Light duty"s and MHE.

These units are in Three main operation centers Portland, Salem, and Bend.

In addition to maintaining vehicles other job duties will include maintaining shop safety and organized standards.

Writing service orders and working with CSR to make sure we are ordering the correct parts

Meeting with operators periodically to ensure that they are properly educated on assets and equipment.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.

The associate must be able to read and write reports.

Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

Education and/or Experience:

3 plus years experience with heavy duty equipment required

Completion of Diesel Program Preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

ASE Certification in PMI & Brakes a plus

Valid driver's license.

Class A CDL preferred, not required
