We are a family-owned gutter, sheet metal, and roofing company based in North Plains serving the Portland Metro area.
We are looking for a skilled roofer who has the ability to manage a crew of 3-5 roofers. This is a full-time W2 position. We are not looking for subs or 1099 employees.
Responsibilities:
Manage a roofing crew of 3-5 people
Complete all tasks from start to finish on all comp roofing projects
Complete tear-offs and installations of composition shingles
Work safely at heights and in various weather conditions
Load and unload roofing materials
Ability to communicate effectively and be courteous with homeowners
Set up application systems
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
18+ years old
Authorized to work in the US
Experience managing a roofing crew (3+ years)
Experience with all phases of composition roof installation - required
Experience with metal roof installation - preferred but not required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Able to pass a drug test and agree to a background check
Able to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 25 feet
Roofing experience required
Construction industry experience required
Fluent English speaker / Bilingual
Team player with a strong work ethic
Safety-minded and goal-oriented
Must be willing to take and pass OSHA Safety certifications
Pay:
$30+ per hour, DOE. Hourly to start, then move to a percentage or per square format
