Our 186 unit apartment community in Vancouver, WA needs a maintenance supervisor to oversee daily operations and maintenance team. maintenance/repairs for our residents. Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a crew of Maintenance Technicians and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed according to company standards and in and in a safe manner and will assume all maintenance responsibilities as assigned and acknowledged herein.
Qualified candidates should have skills and experience in a variety of maintenance disciplines, including painting, plumbing & electric, drywall, changing light fixtures, etc.

The Maintenance Supervisor position will be responsible for performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks on building facilities and equipment and have a strong background in maintenance and repair. Must be able to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
Job Description:
Manage Maintenance Crews/Oversee Daily Operations
Oversee daily operations a crew of Maintenance Technicians, including scheduling and assigning tasks, driving production and ensuring all safety regulations and procedures are followed
Apply and make available a high level of technical construction knowledge on tough projects
Conduct advanced maintenance and repairs on building facilities and equipment, including rough and finish carpentry, drywall and patching, painting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Demonstrate a high level of competence in three or more trades, including advanced knowledge of plumbing, and/or electrical.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks completed and identify areas for improvement
Communicate with management and other departments to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed according to company standards and regulatory requirements
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff
Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Manage and Conduct Work Professionally
Manage compliance with company procedures
Manage and conduct own work in compliance with OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, Landlord / Tenant Acts/Local, State and Federal laws
Supporting Vital Activities
Maintain tools, vehicles and other related corporate owned equipment
Be available, responsive and attentive to Technician’s needs, requests for help, work order assistance, other work as assigned and other duties as may be assigned
Work within team environment on ‘as-assigned’ special projects
