GENERAL DUTIES:
Provide skilled maintenance and repair to District vehicles.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or its equivalent
Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications
Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid Oregon School Bus Driver’s Certificate or be able to obtain both within 60 days
Hold an Oregon Department of Education Technician Certification, or be able to obtain one within six months
Hold a DEQ Certification, or be able to obtain it within nine months
Hold an Oregon Department of Education Technician Certification, or be able to
obtain one within six months ( Mechanic 1)
Basic knowledge of the mechanical operation of vehicles (Mechanic 1)
One year of experience maintaining and repairing large vehicle engines
Pass a pre-employment drug test
