We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packaging/Fulfillment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring our products are packaged efficiently and safely, meeting all quality and regulatory standards. This role involves palletizing products for efficient packaging, creating barcodes for tracking and inventory purposes, operating a folding machine, and using Microsoft Office and BarTender software for documentation and label creation. Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Operations: Operate and maintain packaging machinery and equipment, including folding machines, to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products.

Palletizing Products: Efficiently palletize products to streamline packaging processes, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing downtime.

Barcode Creation: Generate and apply barcodes to products and packaging using BarTender software for accurate tracking and inventory management.

Software Utilization: Use Microsoft Office for documentation, reporting, and communication, and BarTender for label design and printing.

Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of packaging materials, including ordering and restocking as needed.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of packaging processes, including quantities, batch numbers, and any quality control issues using Microsoft Office applications.

Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with packaging equipment, including folding machines, or processes promptly.

Collaboration: Communicate effectively with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to coordinate packaging schedules and resolve any issues.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in packaging or related field is a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing role preferred; experience with packaging machinery, folding machines, barcode systems, and BarTender software is advantageous.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to operate and troubleshoot packaging machinery, including folding machines

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Familiarity with BarTender software for barcode and label creation

Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments

Experience with product palletizing techniques

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to handle the physical demands associated with a hot working environment

Fine motor skills

Ability to perform tasks that require repetitive motion

Expected hours: 40 per week
