A Manufacturing client of ours inVancouveris looking for aMachinistto join their team. The ideal candidate will haveCNC Lathe & Mill experience along with programming.

Duties:
Studies blueprints, sketches, & specifications for making tools & dies, & specialty parts; computes & verifies dimensions, sizes, shapes, & tolerances of workpieces
Sets up, operates, and tears down conventional, manual, or CNC machine tools
Files, grinds, & adjusts parts so they fit together properly; Smooths & polishes surfaces of tools & dies & test completed tools & dies to ensure that they meet specifications
Programs CNC lathe and milling machines (4 axes horizontal & vertical); run production parts using a variety of power-driven equipment & analyzes & diagnoses machine issues
Work with tool vendors to identify & purchase correct tooling for the utility dept; reorders consumable tooling on a routine basis; acquire or plan for assistance with specialized equipment or parts
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Blueprints, technical drawings, models & specifications
Microsoft Suite products & Fusion360 or similar software
Certification in Manual Machining or Machining Technology preferred
Pay:$22.00-34.00 per hour
Schedule:Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
