Walsh Trucking Co. is a 60+ year old family owned company and the leader in the wood residual and waste product transport for the Pacific Northwest. We are looking to add a truck mechanic to our growing team in Troutdale, Oregon. We have a day position available. Hours are Friday - Monday 6:00 AM to 4:30PM.
Our truck mechanics are responsible for everything between engine overhauls to tire work. We pride ourselves in being a full-service repair facility. While most work can be accomplished in the shop we also perform mobile repair and service for our truck fleet and other equipment including yard goats and loaders. We are currently looking for a technician of any skill level to fill a day shift positions at our Troutdale, OR location. We are willing to train the right candidate with a mechanical mindset.
Weekly overtime available
Company provided coveralls and PPE equipment
In house manufacturer training (Mack, Bendix, Peterbilt, etc.)
Current diagnostic software
A Successful candidate will have:
Experience with class 8 truck / tractor repair.
Experience with air brake systems.
Knowledge of suspension and drive train repair.
Set of tools and box.
Valid license with ability to obtain DOT card.
Willing to go above and beyond to make our drivers feel they are getting the respect they deserve and their trucks are getting the attention they need.
