Interested in a Welder/Fabricator position that pays $21/hour to start DOE?
A family owned and operated company in Tualatin is looking for welders to add to their growing team. They manufacture, fabricate, and distribute specialty steel and fiberglass products.
These are full-time, temp-to-hire positions that offer excellent benefits upon permanent hire, including raises after 90-days.
Welder/Fabricator Job Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and products according to blueprints and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment to join metal components using various welding techniques such as stick welding.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal surfaces.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements.
- Perform basic math calculations to measure, mark, and layout materials.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Schedule:
-Day Shift, Monday-Friday
Welder/Fabricator Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role.
- Proficient in welding techniques such as stick welding.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other machinery used in fabrication.
- Knowledge of machining processes and sheet metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during fabrication.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pay: $21/hour, DOE
