Auto parts delivery driver position opening soon. Experience desired, but willing to train as necessary. Hours are Monday to Friday. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Salary pay.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle (box truck) to transport auto parts to customers
- Load and unload cargo from the vehicle
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for by the recipient
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with customers and address any concerns or issues
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
- Ability to lift heavy packages and load/unload cargo
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers in a professional manner
- Excellent attendance is a must
