DELIVERY DRIVER/INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR JOB (1099)
(MUST OWN MINI VAN/CARGO VAN/DELIVERY VAN/SUV)
Job Overview
We are seeking an Independent Contractor to join our team as a Delivery Driver. As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to various locations in Vancouver and Portland areas using your delivery van.
Duties
- Operate a Delivery Van to deliver goods to designated locations
- Load and organize your van
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
-Use a smart phone effectively
-Be able to deliver 70-150 stops daily
-Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs (most of the packages are smaller 5-20lbs)
-Be able to work Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends will be needed
-Work starts at 7:30am and is around 6-10 hours of driving depending on how efficient you are and how many stops you have that day
-Must be legal to work in the United States
-Must have a positive attitude and work well with others
-Must be able to pass a background check
-Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $1.80 - $2.20 per stop
