Hammons and Long Inc, a FedEx Ground contractor, is URGENTLY HIRING full time delivery drivers. We need people who are reliable, energetic, and ready to get the job done. Successful drivers put safety first and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction. Drivers will be operating out of the FedEx Ground terminal located at 6447 N Cutter Circle, Portland, OR and will be making deliveries in the surrounding area in -step vans provided by employer.
No CDL required! FedEx/Amazon/UPS/DHL experience is a plus!

Starting Pay: $22/hour
Work Schedule: Full time 5 days per week Monday-Friday, part time available as well for Saturday and Sundays. Hours approx 8:00 AM-4:30pm or until route completion

Delivery Driver Requirements:
Clean Motor Vehicle Record
Experience driving a slider van or box truck professionally (Your personal vehicle or trucks used to move occasionally do not count)
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
1 year of job-related driving experience (Professional Delivery Driver experience with a sliding van or box truck/Construction, Landscaping/Medical Transport, etc)
Must be willing to submit to a thorough background check AND a drug test which includes THC
Physically able to handle up to 150lbs (with assistance of a dolly)
Able to deliver around 150 stops per day and work in all weather conditions
Delivery Driver Responsibilities:
Arrive at Portland FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages
Must conduct pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections
Loading and Unloading packages from the truck
Delivering packages to the correct destination
Accurately scanning and logging packages
SAFETY, INTEGRITY, SERVICE, and ATTENDANCE are top priorities!
