Position Summary:
As a mover, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of furniture, household goods, and other items. You will work closely with a team to ensure all moves are executed efficiently, safely, and with great care for our clients' belongings. This role requires physical stamina, excellent communication, and a positive, customer-service-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload household items, furniture, and personal belongings carefully and efficiently.
Assist with the packing and organization of items to be moved, ensuring they are properly secured for transit.
Safely operate moving equipment and tools, including dollies, furniture straps, and blankets.
Communicate with team members to ensure smooth coordination during each move.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience for clients.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Adhere to all company safety protocols, ensuring the safety of yourself, your team, and the clients' property.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in moving or manual labor is preferred but not required.
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
A clean driving record and valid driver's license are a plus but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive pay ranging from $18 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.
Driver positions must have clean driving record and valid driver's license. 2 years of experience are preferred but not required.
